Summary of Light Steel Keels

Light steel keel is made by galvanizing process, which is cheap for hot-dip galvanizing and expensive for cold galvanizing.
According to the cross-sectional form, there are C-shaped, U-shaped, T-shaped, V-shaped, H-shaped, and L-shaped.
C-type: C50, C75, C100, C150 ("C" represents the cross-sectional form, numbers represent the width dimension, C38 is the C-type keel with a width of 38mm) This keel can be used as a partition wall or as a ceiling.
- Partition wall: Vertical keel (C50, C75, C100, C150), with a general thickness of 0.6mm-1mm.
- Ceiling: load-bearing keel (CB38, CS50, CS60), with a thickness generally ranging from 0.8mm to 1.2mm.
- Ceiling: Covering keel (CB50, CB60), with a thickness generally ranging from 0.5mm to 0.6mm.

- Partition wall: Horizontal keel (U50, U75, U100, U150), with a general thickness of 0.6mm-1mm.
- Ceiling: Through keel: U38, thickness generally 1mm.
T-shaped: suitable for soundproof ceiling.
V-shaped: suitable for card type keels.
H-type: suitable for super high span ceilings.
L-shaped: ceiling edge keel
