However, wooden studs are susceptible to moisture deformation and fire hazards, making them less ideal for humid areas, high-rise buildings, and fire-rated construction spaces. For professional and long-lasting wall systems, most contractors prioritize galvanized steel drywall studs for their reliable performance and low maintenance costs.
